U-Line CLR2060 Clear Ice Maker Repair

The CLR2060 is a clear ice maker from the first generation of the Echelon 2000 line, set under a counter in a home bar or kitchen where clear cubes are wanted for drinks. It makes ice by freezing water in layers on a chilled plate, and that process depends on clean water, a working drain and accurate temperature sensing.
On units fitted with the P-60 pump, the board flashes to warn of overflow. That flash is a protection, and it most often traces to scale in the pump or a kinked drain hose. Left alone, the unit can stop making ice entirely.
We read the diagnostic LED on the control board, clear and test the pump and drain, descale the water path, and check the inlet valve and thermistors with a probe. The grille and coil are cleaned too. A written price comes first, and the repair is covered by a 30-day warranty.
The board is protecting the cabinet from water backing up. We clear the drain line, test the P-60 pump and look for scale or a kink that stops water leaving.
Cloudiness points to a water-flow issue or scale on the plate. We descale, check the inlet valve and confirm the freeze plate temperature is correct.
Clean, filtered water gives the best result, and a filter on the supply line helps. We check the line and fittings for restrictions during the visit.
