On the U-Line CLRCO2075 combination clear ice machine with the first-generation Echelon board, LED 2 flashing means an open thermistor. The unit has overheated from restricted airflow or a high ambient temperature, and ice making stops. Disconnect the power or trip the breaker to reset it. The LED blinks while the machine sits idle and makes no new ice, so the bin empties as you use it.
1. Remove anything blocking the front vent. 2. Check that the room is not very hot. 3. Disconnect power or trip the breaker for a minute to reset. 4. Restore power and watch LED 2. 5. If it flashes again, call us.
An open thermistor, after the unit overheated from restricted airflow or a hot ambient. The board then stops ice making. It stops ice making until reset.
Disconnect power or trip the breaker. Once power returns, the board reads the thermistor again and the LED goes steady if the cause is gone. Wait a minute before restoring power.
If the airflow and room are right and LED 2 still flashes, the thermistor is open. We test and replace it, with a written price and a 30-day warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
