On the U-Line CLR2060 clear ice machine, which uses the first-generation Echelon board, one flash of the board LED means the overflow protection circuit is open. This applies only to units equipped with the P-60 pump. The circuit shuts the machine down to prevent water overflow, so ice making stops until the condition clears. You see the LED blink once, pause and repeat, and no new ice is made while it does.
1. Unplug the machine and wait a minute. 2. Check that the drain line is not kinked and drains freely. 3. Remove excess water from the bin if any is standing. 4. Restore power and watch the LED. 5. If you see one flash again, call us.
Only to units with the P-60 pump. Machines without it do not use this overflow protection circuit. Units without the P-60 pump never show it.
It means the protection circuit is open to stop an overflow. Check the area for water, and keep the drain line clear. Look under the machine for water.
Interrupting power resets the machine once the cause is cleared. If one flash returns, call us for the pump and circuit test. Price in writing first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
