On U-Line nugget ice machines such as the UONB115 and UHNB315, the display shows 12 when the water level is low. No letter E appears before the number. The machine is not getting enough water into the reservoir, so ice making slows or stops until the level recovers. Once enough water reaches the reservoir, the display clears and ice production resumes.
1. Check that the water supply valve is fully open. 2. Look along the water line for kinks. 3. Switch the machine off for ten minutes and restart it. 4. Do not open panels. 5. If 12 reappears, call us for testing.
The panel shows the number only. It reports that the water level in the reservoir is low, and it reads the same as the E-numbered code.
Not enough water is reaching the reservoir. Check the supply valve and the line for kinks first, since a closed valve gives the same display.
They are opposites. 11 reports a high reservoir level and 12 reports a low one, so the pair tells us whether water is backing up or failing to arrive.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
