On first-generation U-Line Echelon dual-zone refrigerator models such as the 2075DWRR, the 2075DWRWC and the CO2075DWR, the DWR controller LED 1 flashing means an open thermistor. When LED 1 is solid, the compartment temperature is displayed, within a range of 34 to 45 F. A flashing LED 1 replaces that normal readout. Both doors and drawers of the unit stay as they were, but the compartment temperature is not reported.
1. Compare LED 1 to a solid light. 2. Unplug the unit for one minute, then plug it back in. 3. Keep the doors closed. 4. Check the compartment with a separate thermometer. 5. If LED 1 keeps flashing, call us.
The controller displays the compartment temperature, in a range of 34 to 45 F. A solid LED 1 is the normal display, and a flash means the thermistor is open.
Check the compartment with a separate thermometer. If it drifts above 41 F, move perishables until repair. Door openings add heat while you wait. Call us if it repeats.
We test the thermistor and its plug, replace the open part and confirm LED 1 goes solid. Written price first and a 30-day warranty. Call us if it repeats.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
