The 2015R is a slim refrigerator from the first generation of the Echelon 2000 line, made to fit the narrow gap beside a pantry wall or at the end of a cabinet run. Because it is narrow, the cabinet has less room for air around the condenser, and dust affects it faster than a wider unit.
A narrow door also shows seal wear sooner. The gasket runs a short distance, so a stiff or torn section is a big share of the whole, and the cabinet takes in warm air whenever the door is opened. Owners notice that milk and produce do not last as long as they used to.
