On U-Line Echelon 2000 refrigerators with the 2010 electronic control, such as the 2175RF and the 2275ZWC, SP is the normal set-point display, shown as SP 38 for example. It is not an error. If any other display shows instead, a diagnostic mode was entered by accident, and a key press, a power off and on, or unplugging the unit for 1 minute returns the normal view.
1. If the display reads SP and a number, nothing is wrong. 2. If you see another readout, press any key. 3. If it stays, switch the unit off and on again. 4. As a last step, unplug it for one minute and plug it back in. 5. Call us if the odd display returns.
SP is the set point, and 38 is the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit the cabinet aims for. It is the normal display on Echelon 2000 models with the 2010 control.
Pressing keys in a certain order enters a diagnostic mode. A key press, a power cycle or a one-minute unplug takes you back to SP.
Call us if the display keeps leaving SP without anyone touching the keys, or if the cabinet temperature drifts from the set point. We give a written price before any work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
