U-Line 2260ZWC Wide Dual-Zone Repair

The 2260ZWC combines the wide Echelon cabinet with two independent temperature zones, so one side can hold whites while the other keeps reds. It uses the Echelon-era digital control, and every rack extends fully. Large built-in wine walls in dining rooms and bars are where it lives.
A wide cabinet makes the divider between zones long, and a long seal is hard to keep tight. When a stretch of it lets go, the zones bleed into one another. A damper that sticks leaves one zone unregulated, and air that must cross the full width leaves the far end of a zone warmer than the near end.
We set different temperatures, watch both zones, and check the divider seal, the damper and the airflow across the width. You get a written price before work begins, and our repair comes with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
The divider seal has lost a stretch of contact, or the damper is not metering air. We test both, replace what has failed, and confirm two distinct temperatures hold overnight.
The compressor is rarely the cause. The usual culprits are a slow fan or a sticky damper, and we measure airflow along the zone before we suggest anything else.
We slide a thin strip along its whole length and feel for loose spots, then look at the divider for a gap. A failed stretch is replaced as one piece.
