U-Line RNP115 Built-In Nugget Repair

The RNP115 is a Home Collection nugget machine built for an undercounter opening. It makes soft, chewable ice, and that texture depends on an auger scraping frozen water off the cylinder wall. Anything that coats that wall or restricts the water feeding it reduces what lands in the bin.
A clogged inlet is the simplest case, so we check the screen and flow first. Mineral buildup is next: scale makes the auger drive work harder, and in time the motor starts to labor. If you hear a grinding or a stall at the start of a cycle, the cylinder has built up more than a quick rinse will clear.
A damp floor under the base needs a different path. We follow the water from the inlet fitting to the cylinder seal and the drain connection. A written estimate comes before any parts are replaced.
A partly blocked inlet or a scaled cylinder is the first suspect. We clear the inlet screen, descale the cylinder, and test the auger drive to confirm production returns to normal.
We dry the area and run a production cycle while watching the inlet fitting, drain line, and cylinder seal. Each has a distinct pattern, so we can name the source and quote the repair.
It can, but we test the water supply and the auger drive first, because those wear sooner. If those check out, we look at the panel and the sensing circuit before replacing anything.
