On U-Line ice machines with two doors, such as the UONB115 and UHNP315, the display shows 10 when Door 2 is open. The panel prints 10 rather than E10. The control has not detected the second door in its closed position, so ice production pauses until that door is closed and sensed. The first door reports as E9, so the two codes tell you which door is open.
1. Close the second door firmly and check that it latches. 2. Clear anything blocking the door edge. 3. Check that the gasket lies flat along the opening. 4. Make sure the machine is level. 5. Call us if 10 stays on with the door shut.
The panel shows the number without the letter. The code means Door 2 is open, and the control treats it the same way as the E-numbered door code.
Door 1 is reported as E9. Together, E9 and 10 tell you which door the control sees open, so you know which one to close.
It clears when the control detects Door 2 closed. If the door is shut and 10 stays on, the Door 2 switch or gasket fit needs a check from us.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
