Westbury (77035, 77096) is on our list for U-Line undercounter refrigerators, wine coolers, beverage centers and ice machines. Reserve via site or phone; each visit gets a three-hour window.

Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach U-Line diagnostics here.
Westbury was developed by Ira Berne across the 1950s and 1960s and named for Westbury, New York, with his Westbury Square center opening in 1960. Part of the ground had been Sam Houston Airport, which stopped flights around 1953.
Construction peaked in the 1960s, so most kitchens are past the half-century mark. In an original alcove, a bar cooler or refrigerator often has little room to vent.
Municipal Houston water supplies Westbury, a mix of treated surface sources and groundwater. Plumbing from the 1960s may still have its original shutoffs under the sink and behind the washer.
Such valves may seize or drip once turned. They are tested before an ice machine or cooler is disconnected, and we tell you if one should be replaced first.
Built by the Flood Control District, the Willow Waterhole complex fills 291 acres of Westbury; six basins completed in 2019 together store more than 600 million gallons of stormwater drawn from Willow Waterhole Bayou and Brays Bayou. Lakes and trails let the basins serve as a park too.
Despite that protection, the freezer on a garage floor is where to look first after heavy rain. We inspect any unit that was wet and quote repairs in writing.
A slide-in range and a 24-inch dishwasher sit in the original cabinets of most Westbury kitchens, and the refrigerator occupies an alcove sized for smaller models. Washer and dryer are often out in a garage or utility room.
A newer undercounter unit set into one of those alcoves needs space around it to breathe. We measure clearances against the manual and clean the condenser.
The South Loop, US 90 Alternate and Fondren all lead to Westbury, and residential streets generally leave room to park at the curb. Near the detention lakes, Willow Waterhole Greenway works well as a landmark. Include the model plate photo and any gate or alley details when you reserve.
Kitchens here were planned for smaller appliances than the ones sold now. Squeeze a unit into an old alcove and it runs warm and loud, which is why clearances and the condenser come before any parts order. If the space is responsible we say so, and a tripping breaker or a stubborn shutoff valve is one for an electrician or a plumber.
Not enough room to vent is a likely reason. Clearances are compared with the installation guide, the condenser is cleaned, and changes are suggested if the alcove is the cause.
Keep the coil clean and leave room around the cabinet. A unit that still struggles gets its fan, door gasket and thermostat tested.
Just outside the Loop, Westbury is often reachable the same day, and a written price precedes any repair.
