We clear the grille, test the gasket and run an ice cycle while watching the drain. If the wall shut-off is frozen or the circuit is dead, bring in a plumber or electrician ahead of us.

Not necessarily. Low building pressure or a partly clogged inlet filter is common, so we measure at the unit and tell you where the limit is.
