On U-Line wine coolers, dr on the display means a door has been open for more than five minutes. A tone sounds along with the letters until the door is closed. The cooler is not damaged by this reading. It tells you the cabinet is losing cold air, and it clears itself once the control senses the door shut.
1. Push the door closed and listen for the seal. 2. Move any bottles that touch the door edge. 3. Check the gasket for folds. 4. Make sure the cooler is level. 5. Call us if dr stays after the door is shut.
dr stands for door. It appears when a door has stayed open for more than five minutes, and a tone sounds with it until the door is closed.
Yes. As soon as the door closes and the control senses it, the tone stops and dr leaves the display.
A door that is not fully latched or a bottle holding it off the gasket both read as open. If you have checked both and dr stays, the sensing circuit needs our attention.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
