U-Line URBD424 Panel-Ready Cooler Repair

Behind its panel, the URBD424 looks like part of the cabinetry. This 24-inch Seamless Collection beverage center takes a custom door panel, so the cooler disappears into a kitchen wall of cabinets, and two zones inside keep different beverages at different temperatures.
The panel adds weight to the door, which loads the hinges and stresses the gasket, and the surrounding cabinetry leaves little room to breathe. We examine the airflow around the cabinet first, then the dampers that steer cold air into each zone.
When zones converge on one temperature, a damper is stuck open or closed. When one zone is packed tight, air cannot circulate and shelves cool unevenly, so we advise loading with gaps. We quote in writing and warrant our work for 30 days.
A heavy panel loads the hinges and wears the gasket. We check the door hangs square and the seal compresses evenly, and adjust the hinges if the panel has drooped.
A damper is stuck, so cold air is not being directed to each zone. We test the damper motor and linkage and replace the part that no longer moves.
Packed shelves block air movement, so the center runs warmer than the edges. Leave small gaps between items, and we check the damper if unevenness remains.
